1 week old :)

Aniston is doing great here at the house. I can't believe she is a week old already!!!

Now, Im not going to lie--the first 2-3 nights here at the house was hard. Its difficult to adjust your life style to something so tiny & still be happy-go-lucky, not to mention the pain you still have... But, we've adjusted a few things & everything is going smoothly. :)

Mom & Dad came down on Saturday--just in enough time to see us at the hospital before we got discharged. I am SO happy they were able to come down!! :) I love them so much!! And they love Aniston so much :)

Hello World...

Aniston Elizabeth Freeman was born 12-8-11 @445pm.. Weighing in @7lb & 19inches. 100% PERFECT!!!

Long story short.. Went to the Drs on Wednesday to get my 3hr GD test done & to have another ultrasound. Walked in, drank my nasty drink, took some blood. Then, went & had another ultrasound done. She made me mad (again) bc she 'forgot' to tell me the size of the baby & the tech was getting frustrated because the baby wasn't doing what the tech wanted her to do. Well, shortly after the u/s-I went & spoke w/Dr M. This is what our convo was, Dr M- "Your levels are too low & Im not risking you or the baby waiting another week. I have sh*t to do this weekend, so we are going to see you at 12:05am tonight (aka Thursday) & we are going to induce you..." Me- "Ok!". Hahahaha.. Short & Sweet and to the point. My levels weren't where he wanted them to be, so we had to do- what we had to do!

That day, I went running around.. Made sure everyone knew what was going on. Lucas' Mom & Dad were on there way from NC to help w/the dogs while we were in the hosptial. My Mom & Dad were coming up on Saturday (due to my moms work schedule..) and they were staying til' Wednesday. Because I was being induced at midnight, I couldn't eat NOR drink past 6pm (yucky!). Well, about a week ago-Brandi and I decided to have a girls night out at Hooters--Even though I couldn't eat, I was def going to be there!! We had a ball--laughing at drunk stories & talking about giving birth.. It was hilarious. By time I came home from Hooters-Lucas' Mom & Dad were there!!

Midnight rolled around, bags were packed & we were ready for this baby!! We got to the Hosp when we were supposed to, I got all set up in a room & the nurses started me off w/an IV & Pitocin (to get the contractions started). Well, my insurance didn't recognize my new lastname (funny, they recognize it when I owe them money.. LOL!!!) <--because of this, we are all WYLIES in here--instead of FREEMANS! Hahaha.. No biggie, as long as the birth certificate says FREEMAN!! :) I didn't get much sleep. Nerves & Anxiety hit me--plus I was having some cramps (normal)! Dr M came in @745am that morning, broke my water & said we should be having a baby by 4pm! After Dr M left, my cramps were turning into contractions & it was very painful. The Epidural Dr came in & asked me 1,000 questions & I got my epidural by 830am--AMAZING!!!! I couldn't feel a thing (literally) from my belly button down. KUDOS to those woman who decide to go "natural"... Not for me!!! After the epidural, I was getting checked every 2 hours to check my progress. At 12:30 Dr M had came in and said it would probably be closer to Dinner (hahahahahaha..... joke is on him!). Around 3:30-4, I was talking to one of the nurses & told her I had pressure near my booty. She's like-well, it's not really time for us to check you, but we will go ahead & do it. THANK GOD SHE DID!!! She had another nurse call Dr M & thats when the next hour FLEW by.

My epidural was still working (thankfully), I started to push. Dr M FINALLY got there (I told him this *no joke* "Well, Hell--it's about damn time you showed up"... He laughed & just kept repeating, "Well Hell.." he's a funny man!). We Dr M got there, the nurses had already told me the baby had red hair---this is when I started to pray to god for a girl! Lol... We (the nurses, me & Dr M) were all laughing at Lucas---he wouldn't cut the umbelical (sp?) cord--so he was the joke for 10mins... Hahaha... I pushed probably a total of 9 times (3 sets of 3) & BAM! We have a baby. Everything was hectic after that. Lucas was taking pictures, Dr M was making jokes & there SHE was. My CLONE! ;) I was happy to hear her cry, I was happy to hear she weighed MORE then 5lbs... and I was happy she was all ours.

My sister, Mama T & Mike were our first visitors. They weren't able to come into the room until 6pm--that gave everyone enough time to clean up & get situated. Seeing my Sister hold my baby girl made me cry! She was so excited. I was too. Mike & Mama T were besides themselves (can we blame them??!!) :)

All of our company was gone by 9.. We tried to nurse-it didn't work. But, the nurses said it was okay--bc she came out w/a full belly. Brandi was our next visitor (she came during her lunch break at work). I loved seeing Brandi w/Aniston. It was awesome. Aniston went into the Nursery around 1am, while Lucas & I slept-she was back by 430am to be fed. Failed, again. The nurse this time, said it was okay (again). *SMALL WORLD!!* This nurse, happens to live in Powell, I just so happen to be one of those people that pays attention to everything--come to find out, she lives in a house that we have to pass EVERYDAY. Her husband works for KPD & we know the same people. It was nuts!!! When that nurse left, I woke Lucas up & asked him to help me change Aniston--Needless to say, he did it all *again!* !!!! Once Aniston was changed, it got hectic. I finally gave in & gave her a bottle--she took it like a champ! Then, the Lactation lady came in, Mama T & Mike came, then the hearing dr came in, then someone took Aniston out of the room (no reason why at this time), someone from the hospital was there to take pictures, then the lunch lady came thru & took our order. Aniston had to leave bc HER Dr was there & they needed to check her out (everything was AOKAY!), Got some pictures taken, My friend, Jackie & her daughter came and hung out, then Grandma (GG) & TJ (Unc TJ) came in and met Aniston. TJ bought Aniston a HUGE teddy bear (Randal)--its adorable & soft!! They loved on Aniston for a while, then they headed out...

I FINALLY got a shower (Lol), Mama T & Mike left right before the Booby lady came back.. Delt with that mess for a bit. One of Lucas' co-workers, Amanda, came by.. Brooke & Mikah came by--Brooke bought the baby all sort of things & I also got some hand me downs!!! Shortly after that-Angela, Shelby & Ashley came by (I love those girls) and they all got to hold the baby. Ashley was pretty excited to tell me she is willing to babysit ;) Good to know!! Mama T & Mike came back through and gave Aniston a bottle. She took it like a champ :) Mike also got Aniston to open her eyes-- It was awesome.

I fell asleep, long enough for them to leave & for Lucas' boss (Robert) & his family (wife & 2 kids) come through. His kids are a hoot!! Mike & Lucy came by & brought the baby an outfit or 2 (LOVE!) and they hung out for a while. Shortly after they left, we tried to nurse again--FINALLY... IT WORKED!!! FINALLY!!!! YAYAYAYAYAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! So Happy. So SO SOOO Happy.

Now, we are sitting here.. wanting to go to bed.. but not wanting to let go of Aniston. She is amazing. Lucas has done EVERYTHING for her (and me) this entire time. Aniston is wrapped around his finger. I love watching him w/her. He is a softy ;)

My Mom & Dad are coming tomorrow (Saturday). I am SO excited. I can't wait for my mom to meet Aniston. Mom wanted me to have a girl SO bad. --and it happened!!!! :) I also can't wait for my dad to see her--He will cry :') ... Aniston looks just like My sister & I. I love it!!

The plan is to go home tomorrow. Hopefully in the morning, but--we shall see. If anyone is looking for a Dr and/or Hospital in the Knoxville area, I HIGHLY suggest St Marys downtown. These nurses have been SO NICE this ENTIRE time. I have asked them 10000 of questions & they are so patient and answer them. Im serious--they are ALL so kind. I haven't had the same nurse twice--which is okay. But, wow-they are great :)

Weekend Talk

So lets see... Friday, I worked.. Saturday.. We went car shopping & Actually came home w/our new car :) :) :) :) Friday, Lucas was looking in the paper & found an ad about a 2004 4runner-Which is what we've been looking at. We had been to 2 different car lots trying to buy a 4runner. The first place wouldn't work with us on the price & on the next day the car salesmen pretty much hung-up on Lucas (Needless to say, we wont go there ever again!!), the next car lot, had a 4runner we both really liked.. they wouldn't work w/us on the price--then 2-3wks later, then had marked down the price & we went to go talk numbers and they sold it. It sucked. Lucas told me not to get my hopes up (once again) and we were just going to test drive it & see what we could do. Welp, only being there 3hrs we walked out with a new car! :) I love it. Leather, 3d row (which comes out!!), 4WD.... Its purdy :) It was sad to see the Impala go. It was MY first car. But, once I got into the 4runner w/working heat--I didn't miss it anymore :) :) Sunday.. I went w/TJ & his GFriend to church (FINALLY...WINE!!!) TJ was being introduced as a 'new member' so I went to support him. They really like him there at the church. Afterwords, I went back to his house for a bit-then head out.. I asked Lucas to put in the car seat, I wanted it to be behind the passanger seat--but it looked too... squishy.. So, we are going to put it in the middle (Its okay to do this!)! Lucas also started on the dresser. I couldn't help--the fumes were too much for me.. So I supervised :) before.. during & after.. the after isn't a very good picture. As soon as it gets into the babys room, I'll post some more pics. We are waiting to find out the sex of the baby before we doing anything w/the drawes. So, In the mean time--they are going to stay the same (sanded down) w/clothes in them!!

On Monday, Sister & I took Grandma & Brother out to lunch for the BDays. (Grandmas was Sunday, TJs was Monday).. They liked their gifts. :) Then I told tem what the Drs had called and told me about that morning...

When you are pregnant, usually you only have to take the Diabetes test once--well, at my Drs they took it twice. Once @26wks (ish) & once @36wks (ish). Well, I passed the first time, NO problems. This second time, I failed. I didn't think much about it--I told the nurse "well, this sucks" and now I have to take a 3hr test on Wednesday.. Not too mention, I was already going to be there for another ultrasound (remember, my fluids were low...) and see what the Dr had said. After finally sitting down & thinking it over.. I flipped out. When Lucas came home I was balling... Its one thing to find out if you have Diabetes early in pregnancy-then we can control it.. but to find out, in my last stretch of the ball game, that I have it? UGH!! I am being induced in 2wks, I mean-what the heck people!! Hopefully I will find the results quicker this time, then I did last week... Hopefully I will pass the 3hr test!

With Diabetes in my head & this low fluid thing (not to mention, he/she is measuring 'small'...) .. I have a bag packed for me & the baby. I also have one for Lucas... Just in case I get to the Drs tomorrow & we have to have the baby right then & there. Lucas isn't coming with me- I told him not to, it'd be silly. He only works (literally) 3mins away from the hospital & his boss/co-workers know how far along I am & all that good stuff.

I still can't believe this baby will be here in 2 weeks. TWO WEEKS. Wow. That's nuts :)

Also, We got our maternity pics back! They look amazing! Iwish there were some more of us smiling--but thats okay! I can't wait to see what she does for the baby!!!!

**Eviction Notice**

Welp, Dec 23rd @12:05AM (thanks insurance!!) Lucas & I will be at the hosptial getting ready to INDUCE and bring this baby into the world... Holy Crap. ;) Went to the Dr's today. I had to take another GB (diabetes) test. It was lovely-NOT! I wanted to throw up after I took that nasty drink (its nothing but PURE SUGAR)!! After you take this drink you have to wait 1hr & then they take your blood work. While waiting in that 1 hr, we had an ultrasound done to see how big this baby is. To my surprise, the Tech said he/she was only (roughly) 5lb 8oz & is measuring small, but nothing to worry about. She also told us the baby was head down (yippeee) & everything looked okay. After the u/s, we waited about 15mins in the waiting room & Dr M was ready to see us. I had to get tested to GBS (which everyone does) & while he was 'down there' he was checking to see how far I was coming along. Welp, I am 1 cm dialated (yay!!), but my fluids were low. He wasn't too concerned about it, but he did tell me I needed to start drinking more fluids & rest more often (rest? seriously? what a funny man!). He also confirmed that we will be inducing on Dec. 23rd and for me to talk to the lady and get all the paperwork filled out. Sitting there, waiting on the nurse (for paper work) it really hit me that this THING growing inside of me is coming out in 3 WEEKS. I mean, I knew there was a chance of he/she coming then--but the fact she was on the phone trying to squeeze me in & telling me what to do--it hit me!! So, the plan is.. Going in @12:05a on Dec 23rd, have this kid (hopefully) sometime that day & ALL OF US coming home on Christmas Day :) :) :) :) :) I am very excited about coming home on CHRISTMAS with a new baby!! It's going to be a while day, thats for sure!!!! My Mom told me today she has found the cutest Christmas outfit for the baby (YAY!)!! She won't tell me what it is, but I have no fear that it WONT be cute!! Can't wait to see it!!! I have seen so many cute outfits....... So, that's one thing I dont have to worry about--My mom has it covered ;) I go to the Dr weekly now (I'll be 36wks tomorrow--Eviction Day, I'll be 39wks). Next week we will have another u/s done & he will be checking to see if I have progressed anymore!!

Thanksgiving weekend :)

What a crazy weekend... It was awesome!

*I had to work Wednesday & Thursday (Thanksgiving). I hated that I worked on Thursday-but, I really needed the extra money (holiday paaaay!!!!) and I knew if I were to stay home I was going to try & cook. I was NOT going to cook this year--Lucas wanted to, so his wish was granted!! He made an awesome dinner!!! It was so good :) My Mom & Dad came to town, I which I was VERY happy about!! I can't wait for them to move down here, so I can see them whenever I want--not just once a month-or longer :( Mama T & Mike were here.. Grandma & Sister were able to come too!! It was ONE big party at the house!!! :) My brother & his girlfriend made it just in time for dessert too. I was really happy we were all there laughing and talking in the kitchen. It was nice. REALLY nice :)

*That night, Mama T, Dad & I went shopping ((BLACK FRIDAY!!!)) ! I love going out on Black Friday.. I got some really good deals last year--this year, not so much. But, I did get Lucas' Christmas done and I can't wait for him to open his presents!! We took the NEW stroller with us, so Dad hung out at the front of the stores w/the stroller & bags. I really like our new stroller--light & easy o use!!! We didn't get home til about 7-8am..

*Then once I woke up (like 10), Lucas and Mike had finished the crib! I was SO SO SO happy :) After that Lucas made Biscuits & Gravy.. then I went to go hang out w/my Mom for a bit. I haven't really got to hang out with her since before the wedding. Ever since the wedding, when she did get here-all we did was run around! This time, we went up to Pigeon Forge & shopped ALL day :) :) I loved it. I bought some stuff for myself & the baby. Mom bought the cutest pants from Osh Kosh for the baby--She did REALLY well!!!

*When we got back, Mama T & Mike had already left to go back to NC-- So Lucas & I went to Brothers house for burgers on the grill. Everyone was there again.. and all we did was laugh & talk. It was great!!!

*Then I worked ALL weekend. It sucked. But, I'm almost done :) I think I have 14 more workings days (aka- 3wks!) left!!! I can't wait :) :) :)

**We go to the Dr on Wednesday. I can't want to see what he has to say!! I really hope we are still on for an induction on the 23rd--but we will see!!!!!

Phew.. I feel 100% better. We are almost DONE painting the babys room!! I am SO SO SO happy :) & boy does it look sharp!!!!! I think we are going to have to buy another gal. of paint--There isnt too much paint left, but there is some touching up we need to do & the 2nd coat isn't all the way done yet.. BUT, it is coming along!!!! *pics to come* Now that we are (pretty much) done with the paint. When Lucas' mom & dad come to town, all we need to do is remove the base boards, paint them white & lay down the hardwood floors!!!!!! Makes me SO happy!!!!!!!!! THEN once that gets done, we can clean out this living room & deocrate for Christmas!!!! Only 32-39 more days until the baby gets here.. I can't wait.. it's finally all coming together :)
