Long time, no talk :)

MY BAD!!! Lord, where have I been the past 2 weeks!? Well, let me tell ya..

Sampson came home, YAY!!! I was so happy. I was tired of going to the animal shelter & looking for him. The Animal Shelter is such a sad place :( Sampson was gone for 1 wk & was skinny! He came over to the house that week & played & ate & drank TONS of water!! Delilah sure was happy to see him :)

Marley is back home too :) No more cold for that little kitty!! I was so happy she was able to come home, I was so upset when I had to return her to the shelter. She is a HOT MESS. She LOVES to crawl up your leg, mess with your hair & claw you to death!! Reminds me of when Izzie was a kitten--she would tear up my arm from scratching/clawing!!

Lucas bought the baby a bouncy thing-It is so cool! It can talk to the baby in 3 different languages (English, Spanish & French!!). Lucas said we couldnt put it together right now bc we dont have anywhere for it--Which, we really don't! Our living room is full of baby stuff & our kitchen is full of it too.. Oh & not to mention the dresser is in the garage still! Hahaha...

Lucas' Mom & Dad bought us a crib for the baby! We went & picked it up lastnight. Ahhh!! It's so awesome :) It's a 4 in 1 set. So, its a crib, then a toddler bed, then a full size bed!! The baby changer turns into a night stand :) Of course, now we NEED to clean out Delilahs room & make it a babys room!! I want to get that room SPOTLESS before ANY of this baby stuff goes in there. I also would like for it to be painted before anything gets moved into there.

My Mom has been working hard on Baby Shower #2. She made some of the coolest Baby Shower invites! I am so excited for everyone to come out & hang out--oh and of course eat my Dads cooking :) Everyone seemed to love his food @at the wedding-So, that was the request for the Baby Shower-MORE FOOD :) :) I love my parents. They rock my world!

We have a B*U*S*Y October/November ahead of us :) Lets see.. This weekend Lucas got tickets to the UT/Buffalo game, I have to work all weekend. We have to start cleaning Delilahs room. Next week is our 28wk appt-then we start going every 2 wks (instead of 4). There are a couple of home UT games I would like to go to. Charlee's 2nd BDay Party, My Maternity Pictures, then Halloween!! The first weekend in November is packed-We have our Family 3D/4D ultrasound *I CANT WAIT TO SEE MY BABY!!*, then Sunday is my last Baby Shower!! Of course, Thanksgiving & Black Friday **LOVE SHOPPING**!! Then before we know it, we will be going to the Dr every week-then BAM- here comes baby :) :) :)

Sad Week

This week did not start of well.. I'm hoping it will get better!

When my brother (TJ) works, he literally has to go out of town, So we usually "babysit" his dog, Sampson. Delilah & Sampson get along really well-they are like brother & sister! About the same age, the play rough & they just know each others limits. Sampson is really laid back, Delilah is just crazy. Since it's been nice out, we've been turning the air off & opening the windows. Delilah is an "outside" dog, but when the windows are open & she can hear/see whats going on inside, she wants to come in-NOT HAPPENING :)! I was tired of hearing her whine, and decided when TJ went out of town, Lucas & I would go pick him up and bring him to the house-that way the dogs can run & play.

Sunday was a very lazy day here at the house. It's FOOTBALL time, which means-we sit & watch football ALL day--LOVE it :) :) <--So does the baby :) Baby was moving & grooving more then usual on Sunday, it was awesome! After a football game, we decided to go on out West & pick up Sampson. Sampson wasn't there. Now, a little back story on Sampson-he is a magician. He hides anywhere & everywhere. He doesn't make a noise. He doesn't bark that much either. When Lucas and I get to TJs, No one was there to greet us at the door-So, he must be in the backyard, or in his crate in the basement. Nope & Nope. I notice when I step out onto the deck, there is a hole in the fence. You've got to be kidding me! That fart, ran away!!!! In a panic, I call my mom, then I call TJ. Lucas went into the woods, I drove around the subd, GMa came & stayed the night-Just in case he came home. Nothing. :( We were all hoping he ran away, someone picked him up & took him to the shelter and/or they were going to wait until that morning to take him to the Shelter.

Meridith, GMa & I went to the Shelter on Monday-and it was terrible. There were so many missing dogs, and it smelled so bad in there-It was just bad. No sign of Sampson. I made signs, posted things on Facebook & Craigslist & still nothing.

It breaks my heart. I know TJ loves Sampson. Lucas loves Sampson. I love Sampson. Delilah loves Sampson. WE ALL LOVE SAMPSON! I just wish someone would call and let me know if they saw him, or if they knew someone "stole" him... ANYTHING to put my mind at ease. I hate knowing when TJ comes home on Friday, he is coming home to an empty house... Delilah has lost her bestfriend :(

Also.... Meridiths new Kitty... What a mess! She is SO cute!! But, she is VERY sick! I can't believe the shelter gave my sister a SICK kitty! :( She keeps throwing up. The medicine the vet gave her is not working. I just can't believe it!! Meridith has spent almost a car payment on this Kitty. I feel so bad for her. :(

On a happier note.. My friend, Brooke, had her BEAUTIFUL baby girl :) Her name is Mikah Adalynn G. 8lb & 22 inches long!! I was so excited to see her on Tuesday!!! You can tell Matt is a very proud Daddy :) Brooke had Charlee & Mikah at the same hospital we are going to have our baby at (St Marys-Downtown). So, it was nice to go & see what we have in store for us in 15 weeks ;) Lucas got to come with me this time. When we got there, We got to see Big Sister Charlee in the parking lot, she was going to her Grandma & Grandpas for the night. She is such a ham! LOVE her!!! On our way up, I started to get nervous-Lucas, not so much, he was excited!! When we got into the room, Brooke looked good (as always!) and Mikah was sleeping, like a baby ;) Haha... I got to hold her, It scared me to death! I handed her off to Lucas & he's face lit up! It was so neat watching him hold her. Matt was telling Lucas about the Baby & the C-Section, showing him Mikahs belly button, ect. Me, I was overwhelmed. I was worried I was going to drop this bundle of joy. My nerves, got the best of me. I was getting hot. It was crazy. But, I was glad Lucas was there & got to see & hold a newborn :)

New, New, NEW :)

Whats New? Well.. My sister got a new kitty :) She got her from the Shelter! She is super cute! black & wht w/blue eyes! She had many names to begin with-But, I believe Marley Meow Meow is the keeper :)

Isnt she a cutie? She is only 2 months old & she is a NUT ;)!!! It's nice to have someone keep my sister in line while we are all @work ;) ;)

What else is new.. Oh Well, Lucas got his dads truck :) Mike got a new Ford F150 & was nice enough to give us his old truck! It's a 1988 Toyota. PERFECT for what we need right now. Now that we have the truck we can finish cleaning out the babys room & clean out the garage!! I am super excited! The sooner we clean out the room, the sooner we paint, the sooner we get to put everything in there! Lucas' Mom & Dad are also going to buy us the crib we want!!! :) Its a 4 in 1 crib! I am SO excited!

What a WILD week :)

WILD is just about right!

Thursday Night, we decided to head on up to NC-that way we'd already be there Friday for the Baby Shower. Jerry (our pug) usually sits on my lap (well, he tries to.. he usually runs back and forth from Lucas to Me...) and Delilah (our 80lb goofball) sits in the back seat. Well, Because of my growing Belly-I REALLY can't have Jerry sitting on my lap and I didn't want him jumping all over my belly. So, Delilah and I sat in the backseat while the boys sat in the front seat! I feel bad for whoever has to sit in the back of my car-It is NOT comfortable, AT ALL!!!! Hopefully next year we will be able to get a different vehicle! :) :) :)

Friday, was the BIG Baby Shower Day!! Mama T was hosting it-her & Mike had been working so hard on 'fixing' up the house-it looked AMAZING!! They painted the living room, re-did the bathroom (looks awesome!) & painted the kitchen. It looks like a brand new home! You can tell a lot of blood, sweat & tears went into the project! It's literally breath taking!! (These pictures do not do justice!!!)

Weezy, Fonda, Lyndsey, Carly & Pam came over early to start putting things together. The house was covered in 'Heavenly Sent' things, Baby Footprints, a Diaper Cake.. It was so cool & over whelming all at the same time!!

As people started to pile into the house (there were A LOT of us!) I started to get overwhelmed & freaking out. I couldn't get over how many people where there, how many gifts we got & how excited everyone was. It was just nuts!! But, once people setteled in, we started to eat, then we played 3 games (it was hilarious!!). 1 of the games was w/toilet paper--you had to guess how big around my belly was. I was sure to remind everyone who buys the Christmas gifts in the family ;) Hahaha.. The 2ns game was the funniest game in the world. 6 people had a bottle 1/2 full of lemonade-the fastest person to drink all of it, WON! Lucas & Jake (his cousin) were in it to win it!!! Hahaha.. You just had to be there, it was great! Then the final game was to guess how many items were in this HUGE baby bottle. It was great!!

After games, we opened (and opened, and opened...) gifts! We got A LOT of stuff! Diapers, Wipes, Outfits, Books.. It was awesome! Everyone did WAY too much--We appreciated it more then anyone will ever know :)

After everyone left, We had to hurry home that night, We both had to work Saturday Morning. (Booo!!).. While I worked over the weekend, Lucas started more on the dresser. I can't wait for it to be finished :) :)
